This site uses a session cookie to support anonymous heart reactions on blog posts and to keep your preference state during a visit.

What is stored

When you heart a post, the browser sends a session identifier so the site can remember that your current session already reacted to that post. The session is stored in the database together with the post ID only to prevent duplicate anonymous hearts.

What is not stored

I do not use analytics on this page, and I do not intentionally collect personal data through the heart feature. The heart system is anonymous and based on a session cookie.

Cookies

The session cookie is required for the like button to work without allowing repeated hearts from the same session. If you clear cookies, the site treats you like a new visitor.
